Oh yeah, first time at this store, and as usual the staff are very friendly and helpful.
And the chicken, is always the best, I was going for a 1/4 charcoal chicken but once the smell gets you and you think of that garlic sauce, 1/2 is the only option.

Best Charcoal chicken in town. I ate from McDonald's, KFC, Rooster, Starbucks, and other local charcoal chicken Shops. However, I found the EL JANNAH ON KENSINGTON is the best. Staffs are very friendly and professional, dine-in atmosphere is top notch. Good for money and mood.

The charcoal chicken was succulent and the chips perfectly crispy. But the tabouleh, garlic sauce & chicken were all overly salty, throwing off the flavour balance when combined in a wrap. The profiteroles on the other hand, were light and filled with generous heavy cream.

I made the mistake of ordering the Tawouk wrap, and I honestly feel sick after just a few bites. I even asked the staff if it had garlic in it, and was told yes. But what I received was not a real Tawouk it was a mayo drenched wrap with barely any chicken and completely missing the traditional garlic sauce, pickles, or fries.
Traditionally, Tawouk is made with grilled chicken, garlic sauce, pickles, and sometimes fries. What I got was just a wrap soaked in mayo and coleslaw, and I don’t eat mayo. It was dripping with it. I usually finish my meals, but I couldn’t stomach this. It was that bad.
When I politely explained this wasn’t a Tawouk, the staff member simply replied, “It is,” with no apology, no concern, and no offer to fix it. He could clearly see I wasn’t enjoying it. If he had given me what he confirmed—chicken with garlic—I could have enjoyed my lunch instead of leaving feeling unwell and upset.
To make matters worse, the chips were way too salty, adding to the bad experience. I ended up wrapping the food and walking out, genuinely feeling sick because they wouldn’t fix my order. I had to get a coffee afterward just to get the taste out of my mouth.
This was by far the worst El Jannah I’ve visited. I think the quality has dropped, especially in the newer branches. I’ve since read other reviews describing similar experiences—poor quality food and no attempt at customer care or fixing mistakes. It’s disappointing to see a brand grow bigger but lose focus on quality and customer service.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously. People come expecting a reliable meal, not to feel sick for and unheard.

The chicken strips really surpassed expectations. It was very crispy, the fried batter didn’t fall apart, the garlic sauce and the gravy were absolutely amazing, much better than other fried chicken chains. The service was quick which I’m happy about it. Will come back next time I go to Kensington
