The outdoor area was really nice and dog friendly, which was a big plus. I ordered the smashed avocado ($19.50) with an added egg ($3.00). It was nice overall, though I found the peach chutney quite strong and not really to my taste. The portion size was a bit disappointing with only one slice of bread, I ended up leaving still feeling hungry.

Excellent coffee halloumi bagel. The pastrami bagel was average as I didn’t like the buckchoy in pastrami bagel. The Haloumi bagels were fresh and delicious. The coffee was so good and well served. Keep it up. I’m from Sydney and loved the cafe. The outside seating was a bit crude and needs more attention and cleaning. The inside area is ok.

I stopped by Bellboy Cafe while visiting the Christmas Night Market in East Brunswick Village, and it was such a lovely experience.
I tried the Christmas-themed bagel ($19) with smoked turkey, brie cheese, cranberry sauce, dill cream cheese, and watercress. It was festive, well-balanced, and delicious.
The bagel made me feel truly in the Christmas spirit. Growing up, turkey was one of our family’s traditional Christmas dishes, so it brought back warm and nostalgic memories.
The staff welcomed me so warmly, which made the experience even more special.
I also tried their matcha latte at the Queen Victoria Market, and it was very nice as well.
Highly recommended.

Bellboy Café delivers on all fronts—warm service, inviting atmosphere, and a menu that balances comfort with flair. Whether you’re soaking up the sun in their outdoor seating or enjoying the cozy indoor vibe.
🥞 The waffles with berry coulis were a standout: light, perfectly textured, and just sweet enough to satisfy without overwhelming. A lovely option for those who shy away from syrupy excess.
🥑 The smashed avo came with a twist—served on striking charcoal bread and topped with whipped feta and pomegranate. It’s a clever, flavour-packed combo that feels both indulgent and fresh.
🥯 The egg and bacon bagel was another hit—simple, satisfying, and well-executed. Ideal for a hearty brunch or a quick bite that doesn’t skimp on quality.
Service was prompt and friendly (loved our chat about Guns n’ Rose :) )adding to the relaxed, welcoming vibe. Bellboy feels like the kind of place you’ll want to return to—whether for a solo coffee, a catch-up with friends, or a weekend brunch that hits the spot. It can be a little noisy inside when busy.

Went here with a friend for brunch and the place looked amazing — loved the decor and the lively atmosphere. It was quite packed, which gave it a nice buzz.
We started with coffees, which took around 30 minutes to arrive. The taste was okay, not the best, but still decent. For food, my friend had the eggs benedict with ham, and I ordered the chilli scrambled with chorizo and a side of homemade potato hash. The food was really good — the hollandaise sauce had a great flavour, and everything was cooked perfectly.
Overall, it was a good experience — great food and vibe, though the coffee service could be a bit quicker.
