Really enjoyed our visit. The space is calm and comfortable, and the food was well balanced and thoughtfully prepared. The king prawn and matcha drinks were highlights. Would happily come back.

Had a really lovely lunch at Abacus Bar & Kitchen in South Yarra❤️ The place has a great relaxed vibe with lots of greenery and natural light🪴 Standouts for us were the Lobster Cigar (crispy outside, fresh and light inside) and the grilled halloumi with honey and cranberries, such a good sweet-savoury balance. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and a place I’d happily come back to. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in South Yarra.

Absolutely loved dining at Abacus in South Yarra. The space is open, bright, and instantly welcoming. We started with two refreshing drinks that were beautifully presented. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly cooked, and the lobster cigar was crisp on the outside with rich lobster inside. For steak night, we tried the scotch fillet with fries — juicy, flavourful, and cooked just right. The mushroom sauce added the perfect touch, and the asparagus and fresh salad balanced the meal nicely. To finish, the broken meringue dessert was sweet and beautifully made. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service were all wonderful. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to others.

Loved this spot in South Yarra. The whole restaurant is surrounded by greenery and has such a nice atmosphere — perfect for a first date or a weekend meal. The entrées were the highlight: the grilled octopus was crispy and tender, the grilled prawns were super fresh with a hint of char, and the lamb skewer was surprisingly good. Mains were solid too — the vodka rigatoni was rich and silky, and the wagyu scotch fillet was flavourful with a strong truffle aroma. Dessert was refreshing, especially the peanut butter parfait with the berry centre. Overall, great vibes, tasty food, and a lovely spot to spend a night out.

Me and my friend went there for a date:) the dining environment was so chill, they also got tables alongside the road so perfect for ppl who loves being under the sunlight!! As for the food, we were so satisfied from the starters☺️ lobster cigar 🦞freemantle octopus 🐙 and the chicken thigh 🍗 all of them were sooooo good 🤌🏽 combining with the umami from chives and olive oil 🫒 Mains’ portion were quite enough for 2 gurls, but the flounder was a bit under our expectations. We had parfait for the dessert 🍮 🍨 good to share🫐🍓
