Generally a great place to shop. Generally staff are very friendly and helpful. But please Woolies, get rid of that show gate entry and leave it as it was. And please bring back the entry near the liquor store.

I've shopped here for decades but I've decided I don't want to feel like livestock going through the new entry with the swinging cattle prods. It's unwelcoming and dehumanising. There are plenty of other options in Camberwell without having to set a single hoof into Woolworths Camberwell.

Very convenient thanks to public transport and a car park in the shopping centre. There are hot produce, sushi, affordable items and self serve checkouts. Some discounted items for clearance are very cheap. Competition seems to be high here because other major stores like Coles, ALDI and Kmart are also nearby. So, be a smart consumer and compare prices. You will enjoy shopping and managing your budget.

The customer service I had today was terrible. I had to wait longer (30min) than it took me to shop (27 min) - my daughter timed it. The person serving me was incredibly slow (Katharine) and showed no attempt to be more efficient even though the store was really busy. The other 3 other checkout staff served 2-3 people in the same time it took her to serve 1 single person in front of me. They opened another register but that staff member called the person behind me so I still had to wait.
