Mountain Culture Melbourne is a Craft Beer Paradise !!
As a fan of Mountain Culture's NSW brewery, I was excited about their Melbourne launch yesterday. And they delivered!
The atmosphere was buzzing, and seeing the owners on the floor, enjoying their incredible beers alongside everyone else, was fantastic. It speaks volumes about their passion and commitment to the craft.
And speaking of the beers – what a tap list! The variety of craft beers on offer was truly top-class. Every single pour I tried was exceptional, showcasing the innovation and quality Mountain Culture is renowned for.
From juicy IPAs to rich stouts, there was something for every palate, all poured perfectly. Plus, the convenience of grabbing cans from the fridge to take home is a huge bonus!
Mountain Culture has truly brought their A-game to Melbourne. This is an absolute must-visit for any craft beer enthusiast.
I'm already planning my next trip back !!

I’ve been jonesing to get out here ever since they opened, so I’m stoked we finally made it on Saturday. Bit of a weird start with the upstairs and half the front bar closed for a function that hadn’t even kicked off yet, so seating was tight. The staff were legends though and grabbed us a couple of chairs so we could park up at the bar 🙏🏻
Tried four or five beers and every one of them slapped. Pure Mountain Culture quality. Stacey had a Konpira Maru, one of our go-tos, so the wine list is dialled in too 🍻🍷😋
I grabbed the hot wings and they were spot on. Great vibes, incredible beers, and we’ll definitely be back 🍗

Had the afternoon off with my little 2yo boy! Where else would we go but look for a brewery. Have been waiting to get to the new taproom and it definitely didn’t disappoint! This place has such cool character, the space, the tables, the wall decor. We only had time for a couple of beers and the little bloke even managed to swindle his way to a free apple juice (he is damn cute tho!) grabbed a 4-pack of 500’s for home.
Looking forward to getting back there as the food menu looked amazing! And I think I need kid free Saturday night, bulk beers with the boys kinda night. So will deff see you guys soon.🍻

Almost designed for Melbourne's winters as a location, East Richmond's industrial base, close to the Royston and Mountain Goat. A design choice of warm woody tones with a wide range, obscure specials, and a lustrous Americana style.
I visited in early September but this location has recently changed over from Fox Friday to Mountain Culture so I'm updating this review. The the food menu has far less American influences mixed in with pub classics. It's still the great warm woodsy vibe though, just made a bit more minimalist and Scandinavian. The table ordering system is a great inclusion as well. They haven't changed a lot but it feels somewhat more open and accessible.
The range on tap is a bit more IPA forward than Fox Friday (and what I like) but I found the stouts here were within my ballpark. The happy hour specials were pretty decent as well. A great range of merch and takeaway drinks caps off a viable yet more cosy competitor to Stomping Grounds and Bodrigggy as a larger craft brewery location.

Beyond epic, Nirvana for every craft beer fanatic. Incredible breadth of styles on offer, all on tap. The food is almost better than the beer, it's that good. The venue is amazing, wait til you experience it. The staff are great. Book a table in advance if you can. If you love beer, and good pub grub/American bbq then you've found your new home. I'm addicted.
