The Baker’s Wife on Burke Road, Camberwell is another lovely café we truly enjoyed. The food and coffee were delicious, with a great variety on the menu to suit everyone.
The space is open, airy, and beautifully well lit, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a gorgeous place to sit back and enjoy a meal.
We ordered the corn fritters, avocado, and French toast for the kids, and every dish was excellent and well made, flavourful, and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us.
A really good café with a beautiful vibe and consistently great food. Would happily visit again.

Went for a team lunch. My salmon was ok. I felt there were too many potatoes. The others enjoyed their dishes.

This place has been here for a long time. The food is of good quality, moreonf a pricier side of cafe food. But still worth coming.

This café boasts a distinctive atmosphere, offering a variety of seating options both indoors and outdoors, including a private venue area. Some of their menu items are exceptional, particularly the bread used for their scrambled eggs and posh egg dishes. The house hash was crispy fresh as my standout choice, as is the chili scramble.
Notably, their Korean bowl surpasses offerings from many dedicated Korean restaurants, featuring high-quality meat, flavorful rice, and a well-balanced assortment of vegetables.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have the opportunity to try their cakes, as we arrived home at 1 o’clock, by which time many of their selections were already sold out.

I ordered pastry and cappuccino. I love it.
Great coffee, good selection of pastries and donuts! Cute cafe.
Kind and friendly staff.
My friend ordered chilli scrambled eggs and flat white. She didn’t like it at all because it was oily.
I’m not a fan of oily food, too.
They don’t book on the phone, we waited for 20 minutes.
