In an effort to try and lower the amount of 5 star reviews I give, Veneziano is an exception. Like most red blooded Melbournians I am a self confessed coffee snob and there was absolutely no issues in this department. Rich, served strong and smooth. I also tried the Gabroni Iced Latte which was a subtle non alcoholic twist on a favourite cocktail of mine with a subtle hint of rosemary. A must try. To the food. I was recommended the Salmon and Beets. It was fantastic. Simple as that. Balanced flavours, tangy capers with fish and for someone that normally doesn't steer towards beetroot I found it paired perfectly with the rest of the dish and I savoured each piece. A surprising plate in all the right ways. I actually felt refreshed by a breakfast meal which I don't get to experience often. Travel here if you can, if you can't, still come anyway.

We come here about once a month, every month (pictures are Sep/Aug/July). They have some of the best coffee in Melbourne and they always have different food specials going (very hit or miss unfortunately). Service here is always amazing too. :-)

The food is good here but coffee is king. As they roast and supply specialty coffee for cafes nationwide, it was the best place to try a Barista Breakfast Coffee Flight. From their house blend to their single-origin espresso, filter, and batch brew, it's basically a brew for every personality, even those drinking almond decaf lattes right now. It's just a shame about the price.. add a 10% charge on weekends and you're looking at nearly $8 for a "normal" size latte. God help you if you are after an extra shit and/or speciality milks. Savoury being their forte, sweet is also covered thanks to those heavenly baked goods including this Twice Baked Apple Crumble Croissant from Penny for Pound. The menu is tight and again for the price, portions aren’t massive, so it’s not a cheap venture but the food is quality. The Shakshuka was as colourful as it was as flavourful and I loved that the Mushroom Meledy included stracciatella as the cheese (often hard to come by in brunch fare). And who doesn't love a perfect egg pop? Service could be better but it was busy so I won't hold it against them, seems unfortunate because otherwise this place is a vibe.

A lovely spot for coffee lovers. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with high ceilings, an open layout, and plenty of natural light pouring in. It’s also the location where they roast their beans. The specialty coffee was elite!! Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be going back!
