We recently held our son’s baptism here in the function room for 80 people, and we could not have been happier with the experience. The service we received from both the staff and management was outstanding, and the food was absolutely wonderful. The team was incredibly accommodating and let us do everything we wanted to do for the function. So many of our guests commented on how lovely the staff were and how great the food was. Thank you to the wonderful team for helping us celebrate such a special occasion for our son.

Food is great, service is good but we were sat in a less than nice place next to the stairs and walkway even though there were plenty of other options. The biggest drawback would have to be the dark, dimly lit and dirty bathrooms. The bathrooms are outdated but some bright lights and regular cleaning wouldn't go astray.

A yelling kid in the restaurant that day kinda killed the mood. But anyways, the mix fried plate is very very good. Must try. Pizza so-so, pasta was okay. I love the giant gelato.

I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves a warning label, not a rating. The so-called “Italian” food is a disgrace — my risotto was bland, overcooked, and utterly soulless. Nothing here resembles authentic Italian cuisine; it’s imitation dressed in pretense. The service was apathetic at best, careless at worst, and not a single staff member seemed to care that guests were visibly disappointed. For the price, it’s nothing short of offensive. Save yourself the frustration, the money, and the disappointment — there are gas-station sandwiches with more passion and flavor than what’s served here.

A Timeless Italian Gem It’s been 20 years since I first stepped into Sofia, and somehow, after all this time, everything is still just as wonderful—if not better. From the moment you walk in, there's a sense of warmth and authenticity that hasn't faded with the years. The food is simply outstanding. Classic Italian dishes prepared with care, balanced flavors, and fresh ingredients just like I remembered. Whether it’s the perfectly al dente pasta, the rich sauces, or the heavenly mountain gelato, Sofia proves that consistency is a true art. The service is warm and attentive, striking that perfect balance between professional and personal. It feels like coming home to a familiar place where hospitality is a priority and nothing is rushed. In a world where so much changes, Sofia remains a rare constant. It's not just a restaurant, it's a memory preserved in time yet still thriving with heart and soul. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates timeless Italian cuisine done right.
