A good place for a gathering and ample parking. Overall the good was ok, lobster roll bun was a bit dry and not much taste of meat. Chicken sandwich was good and Bomba #4 with thick bacon was not bad. Steak sandwich was average.

The fish burger special was amazing - I do hope it makes it to the regular menu. Came with a super fresh and crisp side of salad and perfect buns (crisp on the edge and fluffy on the inside) Can’t wait to come back with the fam Loving the bright corner room post Reno as well.

Quite busy for Sunday brunch, and can be a bit too noisy. But the service is still quick and the food is very good. The salmon royale had a lovely hollandaise sauce and the chips were really nice. Good coffee too.

Visited on 8/11/2025 – Dish and Spoon, Highfield Road. Went to celebrate a special family milestone over lunch. Booked a table over the phone and the staff were very courteous. Five star , fine dining breakfast experience but it’s not cheap. It’s fine for the local, well healed, Camberwellians. I do like places that offer a big breakfast for a reasonable price but they don’t need to. The food is excellent, amazing coconut foam with our breakfast. But really should have had an extra egg and piece of toast. Anyway, don’t mean to be critical. They have expanded since I was there last time, they are doing well. Service is excellent and as you and the local community would expect. Atmosphere is great too since the renovation. Will be awesome in summer to be outside. Recommended for the locals but I’m sure they all know already. Keep it up dish and spoon.
