You must ! This place is so cute! It’s such a quiet street! Fully of trees and quiet ambiance! And the food ! Yummmmm! Delicious! Absolutely amazing. And dog friendly

Dumbo Café is a charming and welcoming spot, perfect for both locals and visitors. I have often ordered takeaway coffee and food from here, but this time I decided to sit down and dine in, and I was very pleased with the experience overall. The food quality was excellent. I ordered scrambled eggs with salmon, a hash brown, and a coffee, and everything was fresh, nicely presented, and cooked well. The scrambled eggs were soft and creamy, and I particularly liked that the toast was not dry or overly hard, which is a common issue in many cafés. The coffee was fantastic as usual, although it was served a little on the cooler side this time. The staff were friendly, attentive, and honest about the wait time. They mentioned the café was quite busy, but the food actually arrived sooner than expected, which was great. Another thing worth mentioning is that Dumbo Café is dog-friendly, which adds to its relaxed and community-focused atmosphere. It is a lovely spot to sit outside with your dog, enjoy good food, and watch the street life pass by. The only reason I rated it four stars instead of five is the price. I paid $47 for one person—for eggs, salmon, a hash brown, and a coffee—which feels a bit expensive compared to other cafés offering similar meals. Overall, Dumbo Café offers great-quality food, excellent coffee, friendly service, and a welcoming environment, especially for dog owners. If the prices were a touch more reasonable, it would easily deserve five stars.

My absolute favorite cafe in the western suburb! The foods are carefully curated. We ordered Nudja Eggs with sourdough, Potato Gnocchi, Fish Sandwich and Wild Mushrooms with truffle cream. Every one of them is so on-point! Highly recommend to give it a go if you are around West Footscray.

Another gem in the inner west - I have been a few times and most recently got the xo folded eggs, they're so flavourful and perfectly silky! The lettuce add a crisp, fresh bite and the sambal prawn combo is so tasty 💗 The coffee and rooibos tea combo topped with salted coffee cream is the best refreshing drink on offer! Definitely on my list of regulars ☺️
