The right and better store to grab your world best croissant in Melbourne. The ambiance is much better than the CBD. Much satisfying to watch the open kitchen in an old classic building. No crowds at all in saturday morning

The best in Melbourne. The downside is queuing. But worth it. My favourite so far from all the lune spots I’ve been at, is the plain croissant. Simply delicious, crispy and especially when you go in the morning you get it warm… after midday they serve it cold which in my opinion is a little bit dry,, but overall good!!
Matcha, they can do better!! Both in Sydney and Melbourne- matcha is bitter, probably not the best quality, but still drinkable

This place truly makes the best croissants I’ve ever had in my life. They are absolutely delicious. Our favourites are the croissant with ice cream (unfortunately it’s not always available) and the almond croissant. Even though there is usually a long line, it is definitely worth the wait. Their coffee is also very good.

Tried Lune for the first time and enjoyed the overall experience. Setting foot into the store was like walking into something magical, where you can see pastry chefs making croissants in real time. The ambiance and service were great. We didn’t mind the queue as it moved quickly.
We grabbed a few croissants - Plain and Almond croissant, Pain au chocolat and lemon curd croffin. The highlight was the plain croissant as it was crispy, light and fluffy. It was absolutely divine, delicious and delectable, highly recommend the plain croissant. We found the almond croissant average.
Overall recommend the place 🥐

Visited Lune Croissanterie in Fitzroy, and it truly lived up to the hype.
The croissants were flawless — buttery, crisp on the outside, and impossibly light inside. Every bite had that perfect balance of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth softness that only comes from real craftsmanship. I tried the classic butter croissant and a pain au chocolat, both absolutely amazing.
The space itself is modern and minimal, with an open kitchen where you can watch the bakers at work, which makes the experience even more special. The coffee was smooth and well-paired with the pastries, and the staff were friendly despite the busy crowd.
There’s often a line, but it moves quickly — and honestly, it’s worth every minute.
If you’re in Melbourne and love pastry, Lune is a must-visit. It’s not just a bakery, it’s an experience.
