Hands down the most delicious Ecuadorian food in Melbourne. Every dish is full of flavour and tastes truly homemade, like the kind of food you grow up with. You can tell everything is made with care and love. It honestly feels like a little piece of Ecuador here. Highly recommend it whether you’re missing home or trying Ecuadorian food for the first time. I’ll definitely be back!

I love the idea of this place. It looks great. The night we went not all the vendors were open so we were limited to risotto, lasgne and pizza. It was a Wednesday night. The risotto and lasgne was delicious. The drinks were reasonably priced

Fantastic concept with so many Italian 🇮🇹 food & treats! Must try La Pasta Fresca, they make it fresh daily pastas! I had the Tagliatelle Bolognese and it was one of the best pastas I had… must try 🤩 yummy! The chefs Luca & Francesco passionate in what they do as they cook with love and amazing service from Annalise! I will be back… Thank you 🙏🏼

Your Above Average Food Court I’ve visited il Mercato Centrale a few times and noticed a couple of stalls have closed and the QR code ordering system has also been disabled. It’s clear the pace has slowed down over the months, but honestly that’s a good thing. The tables are less crowded, and the space feels calmer. Combined with its stylish interior, it gives off a premium food court vibe, more relaxed, more enjoyable. The food though, is what truly impressed me. Fresh pasta made with authentic recipes (I tried the carbonara, no cream nonsense here) and premium ingredients like guanciale. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauce emulsified beautifully without any scrambled egg bits. For a food court, that’s seriously impressive. If you’re after a quick Italian fix that tastes like a proper restaurant dish and don’t mind paying a little extra without the full table service, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Came here for lunch and I have to say, I absolutely loved the concept of the Italian-styled food court. The setup is super convenient—you can either order directly at the counters or use a QR code to place your order. The place is impressively spacious, spanning three floors, with so many options that it might take you a while to decide what to get! It's a fantastic spot to hang out and enjoy a wide variety of delicious food, whether you're in the mood for pizza, pasta, burgers or dessert or something else entirely. While it’s a bit pricier, the quality definitely makes up for it. The pizza and pasta were top-notch, and with so many tempting choices, I can definitely see myself coming back for another visit. Still have to try the cannoli and gelato
