I used to visit the old location in Flinders Street before they shut down. This is not my first visit here and never disappointed me. Bought take away on many occasions and this is my first eat in experience. Ordered crispy pork noodles and it was really delicious. Will visit again soon and highly recommended to everyone, who is looking for a good place to eat Vietnamese cuisine in Melbourne City.

It serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine with great broth and fresh ingredients. Offers a variety of pho options, including rare beef and brisket. Staff are friendly and offer prompt service. If you miss Indonesian style fried rice, the fried rice here is perfect.

Pho Flinders Express, located across Flinders Station, is a popular spot for delicious Vietnamese pho. Offers a variety of pho options, including rare beef and brisket, with prices starting from around AUD 17 for a small bowl. Staff are friendly and offer prompt service. The restaurant also has a quiet atmosphere and cute decor. It serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine with great broth and fresh ingredients, and the broth is comparable to an authentic pho in Vietnam. I ordered the small chicken pho, which is enough for me. Prices are slightly lower than those of other similar restaurants, but be aware that there may be additional fees for credit card payments. If you're in the area and craving a good bowl of pho, Pho Flinders Express is definitely worth trying.

Found ourselves here after a recommendation, although the restaurant has been here since 2013. I must have walked past many times and never been in. We both ordered the “rare beef and brisket pho” my friend had this since he didn’t want the tendons and they didn’t have the beef balls he wanted nor his choice of beer. Maybe because it was a public holiday 🤷‍♂️and we overheard some other customers not been able to order their first choice of meal/ingredient. Nevertheless the pho was the softest rice noodle we’ve ever had but still was intact and not broken strands. The beef was fragrant and tasty. The brisket was thinly sliced and I mistook it for the rare beef slices. Broth wasn’t particularly rich but wasn’t thin neither. Piping hot broth; this hit the spot. Will be returning for our fix of hot soup especially as Southern Winter sets in.

The cuisine at this restaurant is simply delectable, boasting dishes that are both enticing and satisfying. While the dining area is somewhat compact and there was a minor hiccup in communication during the ordering process, the experience was overwhelmingly positive. The quality and flavor of the food transported us back to the familiar tastes of home, even while abroad. Despite these minor setbacks, the meal left us thoroughly content and eager to return. When time permits, we look forward to exploring more of the menu's delightful offerings. It's certainly a place worth revisiting.
