Very nice well made food that was quick to come out. Menu is well labelled and there are nice options for vegetarians. Portions are large, the garlic breads easily serve 2 despite their menu stating serves 1, prices are very cheap.

I’ve been ordering from Etto for over 4 years but their quality and service have really gone downhill. Tonight was the final straw. Ordered through Uber Eats and the main item, the pizza, was missing. Both the driver and Uber Eats confirmed the store never handed it over.
When I called, they denied it and offered nothing to fix the problem. The only thing that arrived, the chips, was a tiny serve compared to what they used to give.
After years of personal and corporate orders, they’ve lost me as a customer. I’ll be supporting local family-run pizza shops from now on.

I've enjoyed my dining experiences at Etto Pasta Bar. I've eaten there a number of times over a few months. I've had Spaghetti Bolognaise, Wagyu Beef meatballs plus the $9 Pasta with Cheese Sauce. They were all really yummy. I especially enjoyed the Wagyu Beef Meatballs. They were great. Every time, my meal has arrived quickly. The meals were nourishing and filling. The staff were friendly. I went there by myself eating inside at Off peak Times. A number of customers ordered take away and sounded like regular customers. I suspect that it was probably best suited to groups of 1-4 people if eating inside. Etto Pasta Bar offers value for money and happy to keep going there. I live locally and its a great spot to People Watch on Clarendon St.
I have deducted one star because a Five Star Rating means a business goes way over and beyond over what my expectations are. A number of friends use Mobility Aids such as Wheel Chairs so a Five Star Business needs to Accessible to my friends in their customers service, space to move, payment methods, bathroom facilities, parking so they are comfortable. Etto Bar is on a main road with limited available space. Parking around South Melbourne usually presents challenges the flip side is it is well served by Public Transport.

Goodness me it was so delicious! I had Wagyu Meatball Polpette and their pomodoro sauce was a star! We got the goliath upsize, was not disappointed how much pasta we got. I was ready to roll out there in satisfaction.
I will definitely like to try all their other pasta sauce offering! Best part was how much parmesan they give on the side, very generous!
All the staff were nice and the inside are clean. Very busy place especially for takeaway.
