Super service and clean flavours. Each dish was unique enough to make it very memorable. I have had better cheeseburger spring rolls but everything was enjoyable

Interesting 8-dish menu with the exception of the turkey spring rolls, presumably an attempt at an Xmas twist, but a failure. Wine recommendation was excellent. Tables too small for the amount of food they serve at once, should have thought that through! Another annoyance was charging us for two bottles of water after replacing one which wasn't empty with a full one we didn't ask for.

A top quality Modern Australian Asian Fusion food. My top pick is their pork belly! Crispy and delicious through and through. Their biggest let down was their chicken curry which was no different than a street side food store. But hey, still good!

Burma lane is a fantastic modern Melbourne restaurant with food inspiration from around the world. Located in an iconic Melbourne laneway it really is a hidden gem. Food was delicious, priced mid-high end. The five spice pork belly is a real standout. The cocktails are fantastic, we made our way though majority of the list with each being better than the last. Well worth a visit.

Burma Lane is opened by the guys from Red Spice Road and they have Monday specials which was I think buy one get one free on the set menus. We went on Monday, not knowing that there is actually on special, but they still gave us the special which is nice of them! We got the linger longer lunch set, which includes 2 entrees and 4 shared mains for two people. The entrees came which was tofu and chicken wings. The Shan tofu w tomato, radish and peanut was a bit too sour for my liking, but the chicken wing was nice, though I didnβt really think it had a huge Smokey flavour, it was more sweet than anything. The mains came and they have the Red Spice Road favourite pork belly, but it only came in two blocks (one for each person). I wish they give me one less mains so I can have more pork belly because that was good. The wok tossed veggies were ok, but itβs something I could probably make at home so I am not incredibly excited by it. The chicken curry didnβt have a lot of punchy flavours and the chicken was a bit dry. The salad had lots of crunchy stuff in it... I like crunchy normally but this is way too crunchy for me. Overall I think the flavour profiles and textures is not for me. I would rather go back to Red Spice Road.
