Amazing Vietnamese food for a special occasion. The quick lunch set menu had delectable dishes which were nice and light. The staff were very friendly in their service. Expect to spend ~$35 here.

This place has really rich variety, be it vegetarian or meat, never disappoints. We went with friends, ordered a lot of food, everything was super tasty. The service was very good. I specifically recommend veg rice noodles with ref bean paste, it was good level of spice and the dessert did wonders. Lychee cider was a new taste for us

Uncle served Modern Australian-influenced Vietnamese cuisine. Inside was a very nice cosy vibe, especially since we were seated by the window with a nice view of Collins St. We ordered the pork hock and grilled broccolini, and dessert was black sticky rice. Was told to order some entrees as the mains would’ve taken some time to come out, so we did. But half an hour later only the mains came out and no sign of the entrees so we ended up canceling the entree order. The mains were delicious; pork hock was tender and flavourful and came with the refreshing lettuce wrap, and grilled broccolini came with a nice texture of cashew nuts and fresh yuzu vinaigrette. My favourite was the dessert, the black sticky rice was of the right sweetness and came with the even sweeter candied banana, creamy coconut ice cream and peanut praline. The table we dined on had this weird super sticky surface which made the drinks and dishes hard to pick up/move around. Service was pretty prompt, staff were friendly.

5/5 Hospitality Uncle Collins Street was our chosen place to.celebrate 4 years of our stay in Australia. To be honest, hospitality was just perfect. Even after being very busy they were able to accommodate us. And then the attendant went out of his way to.take care of me. Food is amazing, no complains about it. We took the set meal which allowed us to sample so many beautiful things. We went ahead and ordered special cocktails separately....Which were very very average. We also shared a dessert (not included in the meal plan), which was not that great. The reason we rated it 3 as opposed to so many is because whatever we ordered was definitely not uncommon or unique. They are something that you would have sampled at other pocket-friendly restaurants. (Our personal opinion though)

Great collection of Vietnamese cuisine combined with cocktails induced with viet flavours in a cool setting. A must visit to savour some mouth watering tongue tingling food. We love the Chef's selection without bothering of what to order and what to leave behind. There is more than enough food to fill one up and more.
