Loved this place. Elegant dining, with some of the best service I've had the pleasure of experiencing. Everything was delicious, including the great cocktails, but the standout was the lamb which just melts in the mouth.

Nice relaxing venue, good place to have a drink with small snacks. Prawn toast has a very good crunch and flavour to it. The accompanying veg and baby cauliflower were nicely seasoned. The crab hash, sourdough, and pork terrine ran a bit salty for us though. Sourdough was alright, a bit burnt, and the mains were overall a bit heavy/greasy. Service was friendly and timely.

The staffs very welcoming, I highly recommend the bar counter seating (we regret not booking it) and the crab hash!!!! The tartare and calamari sadly was not that impressive but the Scotch fillet was so juicy and soft! Great experience!

The set menu was very disappointing. To serve an entree that is just onion dip with lettuce radish and cucumber…it was a very disappointing dish and lacked in flavour. The Vegemite puff was too salty. The beef tartare was ok, but it would taste better without chips, and better if each piece was a bit larger for more chew. The lamb was actually alright. The dessert wasn’t anything special, and just very ordinary. The lettuce salad was way too salty. Too many potatoes, which although had a nice crunch, was also too salty! Only dish I liked was the sourdough bread with cheese and asparagus. But, the cheese was lacking in flavour - this is where bit more salt or herbs would have been nice. Based on the dishes I had, I do not recommend this place unfortunately :( maybe you can come just for the sourdough bread ?

Service and atmosphere was great. Peach punch cocktail tasty. Kangaroo tartare and Vegemite gougère were quite nice, would recommend-order. Food was quite average, everything a bit lacking on the flavour. Ie beef ham entree had white anchovy sauce according to menu description but didn’t taste any of that component in the dish. Lamb main was very bland, had to ask waiter for salt. Would return for drinks and light bite.
