I loved everything about this place and I’d been a fan for a few years now; the meals (both savoury and sweet - and their presentations), the ambiance, the service, the location, everything except the wait times! Their sweet dishes were elegantly delicious with great texture combinations, their savoury Japanese-influenced meals were so delicate and flavourful, and the lattes always came with cute latte art! A couple of my favourite dishes were the Wagyu bowl and the Chirashi bowl. Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner.

Kind of mixed feeling with this one. Service was professional and friendly. Seating area are clean and spacious, seat was surprisingly comfy - expected for a high tea spot. Food presentation was very good, tastes also great - tasty but not overwhelming. However, there are some improvement to be made. Sake Butter Clams Generous portions, seasoning were superb! Unfortunately there's quite a few bits of grit here and there. Chicken Curry Taste very delicious, batter was at the right amount of crispness. Unfortunately perhaps too well done? Those chicken pieces are mostly quite tough for its kind.

Love the ambience of this place and such a hip, open and industrial kind of vibe. The food 🍱 is a nice modern style Japanese with beautiful presentation and pretty tasty. Couldn’t fault the food and it sure looked as good as it tasted. 5 star ⭐️ and a good start to my Melbourne stay here..

There are a lot of food options, and the overall taste of the food is good, but unfortunately the rice is a little bit cold, which makes people wonder if the food has been done to reheat to serve as the reason. I personally like the scallops, furthermore the tofu is also very tender, the choice of drinks with rice never disappoints. This is a restaurant that is ideal for shopping and drop by to solve lunch or dinner, it’s not high end. Overall the service is based on customer’ own orders, so the sense of service is not strong, its toilet is located downstairs so some inconvenience.

We bought Food Dollar from Liven so that gave us 50% off which is great. It’s hard to find a free parking spot in the city on the weekends. It’s best to park in the car park opposite across the road. It’s $14 flat rate. The food portion here are smaller than restaurant in Chadstone SC. If you could go to Chadstone, you will see the different quality even though you pay the same price for it. Came here on the Sunday, so we have to pay for extra 10% surcharge. Food was good. Staff was friendly. Great atmosphere! We ordered a lot of starters and the bee sukiyaki udon. Highly recommend you to use Liven to earn back or save your pocket a little bit (just my tip guys!)
