The food is amazing, best Italian restaurant I've eaten at, generous servings, it was a doggy bag for my wife, Is now one of my all time favourite restaurants. It's a must try in Melbourne

I hadn't been to The (FANTASTIC) Olive Tree for many years but it was like coming home. No wonder it has been a Melbourne institution since the early 70s. Tarnia and Sonia (the daughters of the Founder) welcome you in like family and their service throughout the day is exactly perfect (Thank you Ladies) And thank goodness the food matches the same standard. Eight of us dined together and all were more than pleased with their meals. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant as a "must do" And true to my word, I just went back and dined there again a week or so ago. BELLISSIMO !!

This was genuinely one of the best steaks I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked. The 500g Porterhouse, priced at $56 with sides included, was exceptional value. Most places charge extra for sides, but not at The Olive Tree. Absolutely terrific experience!

Brilliant service from the waitress. Friendly, attentive and professional while still having fun with us. Just what you want when you’re out for tea. Delicious food coupled with the classic decor made for a great night. Will be back.
