Frankston RSL

Fantastic venue with sports bar,bistro and cafe. The usual standard pokies room as in most RSL facilities. Really new and clean with friendly helpful staff.

What an excellent Xmas Lunch. The carpark was ample. We were welcomed upon entry and all staff were friendly and greeted us. The Luncheon was fantastic. Plenty of food but not too many dishes, so everything was prepared well and delicious. The oysters were fresh and delicious, the roasted Turkey and lamb I enjoyed. The enoki fritters were amazing and deserts, plum pudding and pavalova completed the feast. We were allowed to sit after eating, enjoying the company of our friends.

Update November 2025 - A new menu, a few Vegetarian options, I tried the linguine pasta. It was okay nothing to rave about, a bit tasteless could do with more flavour. The desert a meringue mascarpone roll made in house was spectacular. Also ordered a bowl of chips to share while waiting for our meals and it was huge chips were crunchy. Staff were as normal very friendly. Update August 2025 Don’t bother with the Bruschetta even though it was an entree it was just a few tiny bits of a bread stick for $14 cream cheese and some tasteless tomato. Rhubarb & Apple Crumble was amazing though. I usually love the food here but Saturday night I don’t think anyone on our table really enjoyed their meal. It was a late booking at 7.30 so maybe food sat around for a while towards the end of service .Make sure you ask for a table away from the kids room unless that suits you. * A few months later and I had forgotten about the above review so off we went again to Frankston RSL… what a shame I didn’t remember.. hadn’t improved one vegetarian main meal available ( Nasi Goring) out of only two on the menu. It was awful so salty I only ate a quarter of it, my husband had a seafood basket and it was average too. The RSL had a big renovation but the food is not up to the standard you would expect. Staff were friendly so that was a plus. Won’t bother again till they get their act together in the kitchen.

Dropped by with mates. Visitor sign in was easy with the id scanner. Had a breakfast parma which was great. Service was good.

We recently held our baby shower at Frankston RSL and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Susan made the booking process incredibly straightforward. She was helpful, responsive, and made everything so easy to organise. The venue itself is very kid-friendly, which made it perfect for our event. The room was a great size, comfortably fitting everyone with lots of space to sit down. It was set up beautifully when we arrived. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful, and very accommodating throughout the entire event. The food was also a highlight and there was plenty to go around. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely recommend Frankston RSL for any function or gathering.
