We come there for years and use seniors card. This time was like if you use seniors card the portions will be smaller! Ha??? The fish was dry and no sauce with it. Just stupid chips comes with everything. The salads are boring. Will not go thete again. Get better deals somewhete else.

I think that your front of house staff really need a lesson in customer service. Kindly brought up that my mother's steak was burnt. Tasted like charcoal. It was her birthday and felt embarrassed to say something as I her daughter had paid for her meal $45 for steak and basic chips.
It's obvious that the steak had been slathered with mushroom sauce and mushroom pieces to hide the burnt side.
How are we supposed to eat the steak? Cut one side off and waste a heap of money if we don't want to eat burnt meat??
I had brought it up to the server kindly and I was relayed back at our table that it was our fault for asking for a well-done steak and that they cook it on a char grill. Suggested that I shouldn't ask for well done and should ask for flat grill instead. How would I know how you cook your steak? I am not a chef and I do not work in your kitchen.
Kind customer service would be an apology. Not telling me how I should order my steak depending on your method of cooking. A sorry also could include a food token, refund or at least a piece of sorry cake for someone's birthday. We have been customers for years.

I has a lovely dinner today - Roast of the day - pork. It was tasty with the works including lots of gravy which I like.
This venue has a lot of tables/ chairs. I notice they must do pizzas as well. Pokies and I think rooms for overnighters.
I met up with friends as part of a group who come here on a regular basis. I too, have Bern there a few times.
They are reasonably priced.

😡😡😡😡Ordered medium steak,got well done and was so dry, asked for no anchovies on Ceasar salad,took it back, miraculous how meal came back within 5 minutes, amazing what taking out anchovies and replating DOESN'T DO! I could still taste anchovies and now am unwell as is the people that had the overdone steak and mind you we only had one alcohol drink so we know that wasn't what made us unwell this morning,I use to brag about the food but not returning again, the food quality should not suffer even if you are busy, disappointed and sick 😳

My mum and I regularly come to Baxter tavern for a lovely dinner and play on the pokies.
The staff are all lovely. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with happy smiles. It’s nice when they remember their regulars too.
The food is always delicious! I have a few allergies and I still have a few options to choose from which is nice.
It always a pleasure to dine here.
