We drove over 50km specifically craving a Vegetarian Thali, and A2B Melbourne did not disappoint! Even though we arrived after the Thali serving time had officially ended, Mirthula and Varni were absolute stars. They went out of their way to ensure our hopes weren't dashed and managed to serve us the Thali meal anyway. The food was simply fantastic—the taste was truly heavenly and reminded us of authentic home-style cooking. The exceptional customer service from these two girls made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone in or passing through Melbourne; you definitely won't be disappointed. Thank you, Mirthula and Varni, for saving our family dinner.

This is our-go-to place when we are craving for some good and authentic South Indian food. The Dosas are particularly amazing with a variety of fresh chutneys and tasty sambhar. The service is excellent and the servers are always friendly and polite. The sweets and savories at the billing counter are tempting and worth buying. The Indo-Chinese is also pretty good and so is the North Indian menu but when we go, we only order Idli, Dosa, Vada etc. The food is a little expensive but I personally think it is worth the price!

Quite spacious, staffs are very attentive. I'm a newbie to Indian cuisine but I had my expert-friends w me. The dosa was quite good, not heavy as I thought it'd. The Lassi was so so smooth. Masala tea can be a bit too sweet so do ask to have sugar on the side.

This is our first time trying out Indian food, our Indian friends brought us here and we were the only non Indian people in the restaurant at that time, which I think it must be very authentic. All the dishes we tried were so delicious, especially the crispy round cup that we tried. Love the dressing on the side that we dip in, very unique and fresh tastes. Will try more dishes next time for sure.

Tried the Mysore Masala Dosa ($17.90) — a thin, crispy crepe topped with A2B’s spicy paste and stuffed with potato masala. It tasted great! We arrived quite late around 2:45 pm, so only dosa options were available, but that was totally fine. The place is clean, bright, and feels very professional. Staff are friendly and easy to communicate with, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who wants to try authentic Indian food — even though it’s all vegetarian, the dishes are packed with flavour. I’d definitely come back again!
