I was in the area and went to this place. The food isn't authentic Lebanese and very salty. The ambience and cleanliness are good.

I'm not from around Murrumbeena but I took my car to get new tyres and had a leisurely stroll across to OASIS. And just like a real Oasis this place is an unexpected surprise. The facade is a bit tired and there is the constant humming of passing cars out front, but behind the glass is a new world of half cafe, half supermarket wonderment. Great products and a real surprise... just right for a pit stop.

I hate writing this because Oasis used to be solid. It was one of those reliable local spots youβd recommend without thinking. Unfortunately, what I was served recently felt less like lunch and more like a case study in late-stage capitalism.
I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl, which arrived as a meagre plate of dry, flavour-free chicken. The rice and pumpkin salad was equally bland, bravely refusing seasoning of any kind. The pita tasted like it had been airlifted straight from a packet and dropped on the side as an afterthought.
All up, this meal set me back around $25, which is impressive given how little joy or nourishment was exchanged.
This place once had quality, care, and flavour. Now it feels like itβs streamlined the soul out of the food while keeping the prices ambitious. Maybe the margins are thriving but the shawarma certainly isnβt.
Disappointing, especially from a spot that used to be better than this.

I am glad I visited this place during the holidays. It was bustling with kids running around and families having their Sunday meals. A happy and warm sight.
This place has some exclusive selection of goods like Leo's . They have bought out a massive chunk of space that they can use to extend in the future. I heard they have a kitchen upstairs for cooking classes. The only downside to that is that it might not be wheelchair friendly.
Surely a family-friendly place with a great selection of beverages, drinks, food, and desserts.
I tried some of their dishes, and zaatar, in particular, stood out to me. I also bought a lemon spritz, which was refreshing in the heat.
