🥪 Mama's Vodka Focaccia: Made with crumbed chicken, vodka sauce, parmesan lemon rocket and stracciatella cheese ($28.00) 🥪 Brother's Prosciutto Focaccia: Made with prosciutto, stracciatella, lemon parmesan rocket, mushroom and truffle oil spread ($27.00) REVIEW: 💛 Delicious. I had Baba's Deli delivered and the quality was phenomenal. Soft focaccia bread with filling that was generous. Most notably: 1. Rocket that had a lemon citrus tang to it, and 2. truffle potent enough to give that umami flavour with every bite. It's high quality sandwiches and the size is massive. I went into a food coma after this. Not ideal for a work day 😆😆. Better yet? Split with a friend and get to try more flavours. Baba's Deli is definitely worth it.

Here’s a refined version that keeps your warmth, enthusiasm, and slightly cheeky tone—polished but still very you, and perfect for a Google review: ⸻ These iconic guys only have a five-star rating because that’s all Google allows — truthfully, they deserve way more. Iced lattes come in the cutest containers, and the coffee itself is genuinely top-notch. Pictured is my order after I asked what the most popular item was: Mama’s Vodka Focaccia — crumbed chicken with vodka-style sauce, rocket, and stracciatella cheese. A total crowd favourite, and now I know why. The crumbed chicken is huge — juicy, succulent, and seriously satisfying. I ordered a side of fries and quickly realised, while demolishing those deliciously spiced chips, that I was already filling up just from the focaccia alone. The atmosphere is upbeat and full of life, and the service feels truly local — personable, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. After just one visit, I already know I’ll be back, and I’ll absolutely be telling everyone I know to check this place out. It’s not often you find a great deli — but this is one of them.

Absolutely adore this place. My family and I were visiting from Canada and we could not wait to try it out (Baba’s marketing reached canada!) They did not disappoint. We had the brothers prosciutto, the salami sandwich and the pizza sandwich and it was unreal. It was a lot of food but the bread was so light it didn’t leave us feeling weighted down. The biscoff coffee was the perfect amount of sweetness and the cookies were to die for. The owner even took time out of his day to chat with us and made sure everything was up to standards. If we didn’t live across the ocean I would be here everyday.

Went to Baba’s Deli and ordered the Uncle’s Mortadella, Mama’s Vodka, chips & a chai latte. The Uncle’s Mortadella sounded promising, but it wasn’t spicy at all despite the chilli oil, and lacked tang despite the lemon parmesan rocket - it ended up tasting predominantly tomato-based. Mama’s Vodka, on the other hand, was much more flavourful & well balanced (and cheesy!) The chai latte was weak and overly milky with very little spice. Chips were nicely crispy.

A great sandwich spot in Port Melbourne serving excellent focaccia sandwiches with plenty of variety. I ordered the Uncle’s Mortadella sandwich, which was incredible and really generous. Coffee was great, and the staff were friendly. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu.
