When this dish came out I was excited, it looked amazing from the veal to the potato salad all the way to the broccolini and gravy. But as with all things looks can be deceiving, the schnitzel itself was quite chewy and stringy. The potato salad was pretty good I’d say the potatoes were cooked perfect as was the broccolini yet it lacked a bit of flavour but wasn’t bad by any means. The gravy was nice. Decent size meal.

Real nice hotel, lots of character with turn of thr century decor. The way the bar is set up gives the illusion of a mirror - very impressive, even if it's accidental. Trivia night is fun although so loud I would imagine annoying for other patrons. Food is large servings and came out quickly

Came here for a catch up with friends the other day, love this place. The food is always amazing and doesn't disappoint. I had the Wagyu Beef Burger 🍔 OMG Yummo. This burger was bloody amazing. It was so nice with amazing flavours, and the meat patty yum and the chips were amazing too. Highly recommend this if you love ya burgers. The staff are and were so nice and friendly and providing a great service for us all. Cheers guys, sorry forgot the pic thou.

From the moment we arrived, the team at the Railway Hotel in Yarraville made us feel like VIPs. We booked the private function for my son’s 21st Birthday party, and the entire night ran flawlessly. The staff’s attentiveness was truly unmatched. All staff serving us, Mia, Lexi, Georgie and Zac were phenomenal, accommodating every request with a smile and a friendly, relaxed manner that put everyone at ease.
The setup allowed for plenty of mingling, with comfortable seating and the perfect bar set up.
All the food was simply outstanding. We opted for a wide assortment finger food, each item was a hit. From the perfectly cooked homemade sausage rolls to the deliciously creative vegetarian rice paper rolls. Each dish was fresh, flavourful, and a step above typical pub fare. We received so many compliments from our guests, and it’s all thanks to the brilliant work of the kitchen staff and chef’s.
It’s clear that staff genuinely cares about their guests’ experience.
For a special occasion, you want everything to be perfect, the Railway Hotel Yarraville will absolutely deliver.
We will definitely be back to celebrate here again.

Great pub in the heart of Yarraville.
They’ve got an awesome rooftop area which is pretty for a summer drink as well as the seating area at the entrance.
We ordered the Veal Schnitzels, nourish bowl and steak sandwich - great portion sizes and relatively well priced.
Staff were super friendly, service was quick and really nice decor throughout!
Plenty of tvs to watch sports.
