Good coffee and a large variety of cakes and pastries. Smallish selection of good breads. I love that they are open until 5 but sometimes the sandwiches and filled rolls and baguettes look a bit tired. Seasonal specialties such as Buche de Noel and ginger bread houses. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating is available if you donโt mind the traffic of Bay St.

We only had coffee, and it came out promptly and hot - as requested. Magic!
Minimalist feel. Super looking range of pastries down the full length of the counter. Looks like many regulars visit here. That's a good sign. Lol

Noisette in Port Melbourne truly stands out as a gem for anyone with a love for exceptional pastries and impeccable service. Located conveniently on Bay Street, this French-inspired bakery offers a delightful experience from the moment you step through the door.
The service at Noisette is consistently excellent. The staff are not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly efficient, ensuring a smooth and pleasant visit.
Now, onto the stars of the show: the pastries and slices. Noisette's cabinet is a feast for the eyes, showcasing a stunning array of beautifully crafted treats. We were particularly impressed with two classics that were executed to perfection.
The Dark Forest slice was an absolute triumph. It struck the ideal balance between rich, moist chocolate cake, perfectly tart cherries, and a delicate cream, without being overly sweet.
Equally impressive was the Lemon Meringue Tart. The buttery, crisp shortbread base provided a wonderful foundation for the vibrant, zesty lemon curd. Topped with a perfectly torched, airy meringue that was just sweet enough to complement the lemon's tang, it was a refreshing and exquisitely balanced treat.
If you are looking for a perfect pastry to accompany your coffee, Noisette Port Melbourne delivers an experience that is both delicious and delightful. It's a must-visit for any dessert enthusiast in Melbourne.

Love love loved this cafe!!! Been living in bay street for several years now. Usually get my brekky to go from here every third day. But recently the new staff is struggling to toast the sandwiches and croissants properly. Itโs somehow taking longer and the sandwiches comes out soft and soggy and the croissants almost burnt on the top.
Thereโs only 2 current staff atm that always gets it right.
The thai girl and George. So when I walk in and theyโre not working. GYG brekky wrap it is๐

A modern French cafe indeed! The selection was mind blowing, my eye caught a black burger served with porchetta, cold slaw and relish, a custard filled beignet and a chocolate mousse cake. The burger was fresh and just the right coldness of you like having it cold. Honestly o could have eaten one from each of the pastries they had as they were so delicious looking. The staff was friendly and kind and efficient too. All in all, would love to go there when I am in Melbourne again.
