Ordered GYUDON beef bowl, it says premium, well it is definitely not premium at all, no way near it. I guess you can not expect too much for $20.90. Also ordered chicken karaage, I didn’t even finish it. Very disappointed to be honest . Don’t know how it gets high rating in such beautiful suburb. Ruined my Friday!

A lovely family-run Japanese eatery with fresh food cooked hot to order. The place is spotless with a calm, clean ambience.
I had the chicken katsu don, which came with salad and miso soup — so flavourful! Also tried Bento Box 4 with chicken katsu, chips, veggie salad with sesame dressing, yakisoba noodles, and 2 pieces of deep-fried chicken rolls. Absolutely loved the taste of both dishes.
Service was quick, and I noticed they also have a barista, some desserts, and a nice sushi selection. Definitely coming back!

Wow! The sushi platter was amazing. Food is delicious. The owner has worked in so many Japanese fine dining places, and now we get the benefit at a much more reasonable price. We’ll be regulars for sure!

We ordered the Japanese curry rice with chicken Katsu and tonkatsu set. They were both delicious, quality was great! The service was lovely, I will definitely come back when I’m in Port Melbourne next time :) thank you!

tantanmen the best ever, highly recommended if you would like to have something spicy. the lunch deal definitely worth it. takoyaki taste good, big pieces of octopus inside with crispy outer skin. tuna rice ball recommended for small dishes. signature burger is very juicy, with 2 tasty meat patty.
