We went to Shanikas Berwick for our anniversary and it was divine. The servers were all diligent and kind, the atmosphere was cosy, warm and with beautiful dreamy lighting. Their drinks menu is substantial which was great because my partner and I have very different tastes and we both enjoyed great meals. The beef ragu was tender and the duck fiorelli was tasty with a side of chilli.

Came here yesterday with my family to celebrate me and my mum's birthday and were blown away by how good the good and service was!!! 10/10! We all loved it and will be back again soon for sure. Definately the best restaurant in Berwick! If you live in the area and haven't been (which is rare), you are missing out!
They also do takeaway here too.

The food was amazing. The best Italian cuisine I have ever had. The service was perfect, our water was never low. You can even choose to share the mains or have it to yourselves. I plan on trying their Pakenham branch next

Went for lunch today (a mate from work said go with wife) well we did, OMG what a wonderful place to visit for lunch. The staff were 110% professional (they were the best I’ve ever seen). Wife n myself had the $95 4 course meal (did it cause to taste what was on offer and next visit will order on main menu, what we had was great, and will come back to try more). The cost was worth the visit, the service and food was perfect. Will come back again

The service was absolutely excellent — attentive and professional from start to finish.
However, the pricing felt a bit steep for what was served. I ordered the lamb cutlets, which came with just four small pieces for $52. By the time the food arrived, many dishes at our table were already cold, and we had waited over half an hour after ordering.
That said, the flavours were spot on — well-seasoned and thoughtfully plated. The portion, though, was more on the “fine dining” side, and we definitely didn’t leave feeling full.
Might consider trying a different dish next time, or perhaps their set menu for better value.
One thing to note: accessing the upstairs dining area might be challenging for people with mobility issues. The stairs are quite steep and there’s only one side with a handrail. It would be great if there were a lift or handrails on both sides for added support and safety.
