Beverly in South Yarra is one of those places that makes you feel like you’re celebrating something - even if you’re not. With stunning rooftop views, a stylish vibe, and beautifully crafted food and drinks, it’s the perfect pick for a night out that feels a little bit special.
We visited on a busy Friday night, and despite how packed the venue was, everything was smooth and incredibly well-run. The food was absolutely delicious - well-presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried felt elevated without being over-complicated. And the cocktails? Extra yum. Balanced, creative, and definitely something we’ll be going back for.
What really made the experience memorable though was the exceptional service by Aurora. Even on one of their busiest nights, she never missed a beat. She checked in with us consistently, making sure we were happy with our food and drinks, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. Her warm energy and attention to detail really stood out - it felt personal and genuine, not just polished service.
Big shoutout to Aurora for being an absolute star and elevating the whole experience. It’s rare to come across service that’s this thoughtful and consistent, especially in a buzzing venue like this.

Went to Beverly Rooftop for my birthday lunch with a friend, and it was such a lovely experience!We had the set menu, which was delicious and beautifully presented. They even added a cute birthday note, which made it feel extra special. The atmosphere was stunning, and the service was amazing. A big thank you to Elle, who was super sweet and made our time there such a great one. Definitely recommend Beverly for a special occasion or a nice lunch spot!💕

I went to Beverly for my friend’s birthday dinner, and the restaurant was beautiful and comfortable. I loved the lobster pasta and the steak. We also received wonderful service from Fah — she was bubbly, cheerful, and made the evening even better. Thank you for the great experience last night🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

such a beautiful place! Went at night for city views and got some prawn sushi rolls and steak. the food and drinks were delicious and great service from our waitress Fah, she was super sweet and playful like our drinks!

After a similar experience 12 months ago with a larger group, where several dishes we ordered never made it to the table but still appeared on the bill, we decided to give Beverly a second chance. Unfortunately, the outcome was much the same.
The food was absolutely spot on, fresh and beautifully presented, but the service once again dragged the afternoon down. It felt like we’d been parked in no man’s land; staff were friendly when they appeared, but the gaps in between were so long we ended up giving up.
For a place serving food this good, in a fun and unique setting, the lack of attention was really disappointing. What should have been a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon became another frustrating experience.
