We ate right on the beach, and it was an amazing place just a few meters from the sea. We didn’t have to wait because we were lucky—a table had just become available for us. The food was very good (a burger and chicken souvlaki). It was a bit expensive, but I assume that’s also the price you pay for such a location. The service was perfect.

I have been working locally last 21 years and come in most days for coffee and meals. The staff are incredibly dedicated and give 100% care to whoever walks into their establishment. No matter how busy, the staff have time to ask how I my day is going... even remembered my birthday and gave me a sweet treat! The food is served promptly and always delicious! My favourite is their Spanish omelette. Thank you for keeping me well fed most days of the week and I never get tired of the gorgeous view!

I had a swim next door in the pool/ocean today and decided to have lunch on the beach. Whilst everyone lined up for a long time- the wait was fairly short to eat on the beach. I ordered a margarita and Spanakopita (without salad). The drink was delightful- but $26 for a cocktail was quite extravagant, even if bought out to the beach already made. I noticed it wasn't quite "full". BUT the Spanakopita was to DIE FOR. OH-my-Gowd! I'm still licking my lips. It honestly was THE BEST I've ever had in my life. No need for seasoning. It was perfection. I closed my eyes- and thought I was in Greece. It was the same price as the drink. Yes- a little $$- but its not every day this Mum gets alone time- so money well spent. I Can't wait to return asap. Still dreaming of it now.

Beachcomber has a bunch of experiences depending on what you are looking for. -Nice indoor restaurant with beach decor. -Terrace on the Boulevard seated dining. -On-beach relaxed serviced dining. - Gelati bar - European style cake bar - Private dining area The service was a stand out during our visit. Flawless. The menu is very reasonably priced considering the location. Great first date venue, or just as good for your 30 year wedding anniversary. Families will love getting a picture with the giant (albeit slightly unattractive) fairy penguin.

My family and I headed to St Kilda Beach to catch the New Year’s fireworks. We dropped into a nearby restaurant to pass the time before the show. It was already past 8:00 pm on New Year’s Eve, and the beach was absolutely buzzing—people everywhere, way more than we expected for that hour. Most restaurants had queues out the door, so finding one that could take us straight away felt like striking gold. It gave us a calm spot, seats right away, and a cosy atmosphere to unwind in. We were able to relax, chat, and just soak in the moment without rushing. A great reminder that good preparation and timing matter—but also that sometimes, the best memories come from lucky detours.

Family Friendly
