Came in on new years eve at 1:30 pm for lunch. I always come for the creme broulet. Ordered and waited half hour for the main. The meal was enormous. Peppercorn sauce tasted like fish. Rump steak doesnt go with fish sauce. Funny taste. Then waited for creme broulet as initially ordered and paid up front. Then they said there was no creme broulet The coffee was already made and sitting waiting . They tried to refund me but had to wait for manager. I asked why the order was taken but the desert not available. Manager said they always check stock after main course. It makes no sense since we paid already. You need to upgrade process and improve food quality. We are locals.

Letβs keep this between the two of us, the food at the Berwick Inn is fantastic. Fresh tasty ingredients will get your taste buds dancing. Beautifully renovated and welcoming staff. Highly recommend the lasagna.

Iβm not one to complain but I had ordered one of their beef burgers. It looked amazing BUT when I started eating it I noticed it was a bit chewy. I didnβt notice until halfway that the Pattie was still pink and raw. I would have liked it completely cooked. I did however take it back and asked for it to be cooked again. Now it did upset my stomach. I was nauseous and got a headache and ended up vomiting. However your customer service was amazing!

Huge portions! We tried the 2 x fish and chips (battered and grilled) and 2 x pie of the day, plus the superfood salad. Finished off with sticky date pudding and coffee. All enjoyed their meals very much. Service was good, you order at the bar. The venue was warm and inviting with a interesting historical past.
