Had a great feed here. Steak was delicious Parma was on point. Pizza was great. Service was a little terrible though

Great service, staff were amazing. I am diabetic and somehow ended up with a Pepsi instead of Pepsi max, when I realised (and I’m sure it was no staff fault but possibly a mix up at our table handing drinks around) they quickly changed my order to a low carb meal to help me counteract the extra sugars, no questions just did it. The staff are to be commended for this. Meals were amazing, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Noise level was good and we could hear everyone at our large table.

Called in for a pub meal and had a a really good experience. The food was good, hot, came in a timely manner. I had the pasture fed Scotch fillet and it was cooked as ordered and the chips were great. My dining companion had the prawn curry which was very nice as well. Not a cheap pub meal with a bottle of wine as well but quality and a very pleasant experience.

Good pub/hotel type food near Ripponlea. I ordered the nduja pizza, great hot and spicy taste. There are specials every day,$18 pizza deal on Thursday was fantastic. Staff are very friendly. The setting is also good for watching sport and catching up with mates, lots of space available. Thank you very much.

In for an early $25 steak night. Had received positive reviews to “must try” from some locals over last few months. Sat in the back restaurant they opened the doors and a pleasant cool breeze flowed through A combination of young families,, elderly couples, mixed friends demographics throughout the hotel making for nice local atmosphere I ordered the steak special medium rare with chimmi churri chilli butter (and an extra mushroom sauce $2) We also had a chicken parmigiana And another steak special ordered. LLB’s and water tonight A lovely waitress. Good fun & cheerful Steaks were a tad disappointing. Looked great. Smelt fabulous but tasted a tad old or like had been frozen and thawed as when cut inside a darkish pink but not bloody My extra mushroom sauce never came out The Parma looked great on the plate and was “satisfactory” nothing stand out Glad gave it a try. We still had a nice catch up. Even my local friend said it’s not normally like this.
