Had dinner tonight for my son’s 17th birthday and while not the cheapest meal, it was worth every cent. We ordered the platter for 2 as well as the “birthday dinner” which my son ordered the cheesy corn bread, smoky Mac and cheese and the pulled pork. There were three of us and even though we wanted to, we couldn’t eat it all. Luckily the give you takeaway containers to take what you can’t eat home. The platter for 2 could easily feed 3-4 people depending on how much you eat. The service was spot on. Staff were friendly, quick to serve and we weren’t left waiting for ages. Will definitely visit again!

Absolutely outstanding experience at Third Wave BBQ Officer! The meat was cooked to perfection - juicy, smoky and full of flavour, easily some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. Portions were generous and every bite felt like pure comfort food. The staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly, making the whole dining experience relaxed and welcoming. If you’re after quality BBQ with great service, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Share platter for 6 fed us twice over! So much food, so many flavours! The ribs definitely better than the brisket. A little more coleslaw would have gone a long way.

Amazing, flavourful food! I tried their Cheeseburger Royale which had a really nice flavour and came with the best waffle fries stacked on top and a drizzle of cheese sauce. The bacon mac and cheese loaded fries were incredible, so creamy, cheesy and flavourful, the hint of spring onion in some of the bites were so good. For dessert I tried the peanut butter and Nutella pie, this was the best tasting pie I have ever had. I was a decent size for the price and wasn’t too sweet or too rich, it was perfect and I highly recommend it! The key lime pie was really nice as well, it had a nice tartness and sweetness and again, wasn’t too rich. The staff were very friendly and ensured we had the best experience. Can’t wait to come back and try this place out for dinner!

First time here. Very busy. On arrival for our booking at 730pm, we were told that they had a fire alarm go off and our booking would be pushed back 30 minutes to an hour. I was not very impressed, and informed them that was not acceptable and a phone call may have been appropriate to inform us of the delay. We waited outside the restaurant, with a number of other people. I began to ring another restaurant when the manager came outside and informed us of a table that was available now. Very busy and very loud inside. Ordered a platter for 4 people, apparently $260. It looked impressive, but there were a lot of chips and onions rings underneath, packing it up. Their chicken wings were the best thing on the platter. Wasn't enough pulled Pork for 4 people to make a bun each. Only 2 kransky sausages for 4 people. The beef ribs were tender but very fatty, and most of our group didn't each it. The place it more of a novelty, and I really don't think it was worth the price tag. Probably wouldn't come back.
