I have this memory as a kid of eating a jam tart the size of a saucer. I'm pretty sure I dreamt it however the jam tart here is as close as I have gotten to this memory. $5 is a little steep, but it's worth it and everyone should try it once.

Just ducked in for a takeaway bagel (or 8). Wouldn't go anywhere else. Variety - fab. Flavour - fab. Price point - fab. Service - lovely.

The best bagels in the Eastern suburbs! Love their cinnamon raisin bagels- delicious. There have a huge variety of other cakes and breads, all baked on-site. Itβs a very popular store so you may have to queue but itβs well worth the wait. There are tables/ seating at the back of the shop if you wanted to eat in. Super-friendly service. Highly recommend.

Glicks Caulfield South is a popular place around high noon on a Friday. The queue was out the door. Wait time wasn't too long as the ladies behind the counter dealt with the flow quite well.
Lots of items to choose from other than loaves of bread. I saw cakes, pastries, donuts, bagels and of all things, crumbed fish pieces!
This place was a cafe before or could be made into one. The tables are set up for it.
So no coffee and donuts - only donuts

I truely think these are the best bagels you can buy in Melbourne.
They also do a pretty good selection of sandwiches at the bakery.
