Dixie Cafe Caulfield North

Dined here with my friend. Saturday is a bit busy. But we got our order fast. I love it that they accommodated my request to have a ham, egg, and cheese croissant (they don't have it on the menu). Overall, it's a lovely local cafe.

I loved the chicken schnitzel sandwich!! For $16 these days, the price is very accessible, love the local vibes here. Their coffees are amazing too, I forgot to take a photo. 100% recommend!! The chicken schnitzel sandwich tastes better than most fancy places. Would 100% go back! One of my fav breakky place now!

I had a wonderful experience at Dixie Cafe! I ordered the Eggplant Sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. We also had coffee and cinnamon muffin that was one of the best I had! The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the visit even better. Highly recommend Dixie Cafe.

Really lovely staff, and extremely accomodating. The powdered chai and coffees are great! They also have really good sandwiches for an amazing price. The hot chips are also delicious (perfectly salted and crisped). Will definitely be back!

Just had an absolutely incredible schnitzel sandwich — every bite was a flavour bomb. The schnitzel was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, paired with tangy pickled cabbage that added the perfect contrast. The bread was soft and fresh, holding it all together without overpowering the filling. Everything just clicked — the textures, the seasoning, the balance. Genuinely one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time.
