Pub has OK food. Chicken parmigiana are huge! Barramundi fish was OK. Eggplant entree was not great. Food overpriced for quality. We sat upstairs in the fancier restaurant and it was freezing cold. Service not great.

Great pub with a lot of space for dining in. The food menu is brilliant with plenty of popular pub fare on offer. Grateful to have a room at the back with the Melbourne Storm being played on the screen at the time.

I'm so disappointed to announce their famous parma's have changed. No longer the best in town. This one was dry, tasteless and hard to swallow. The shape of the parma looked too uniform compared to the past. Pre bought? Why change a good thing. The salad had a tangy taste as well. I use to look forward to their parma's but no more. RIP.

The Skinny Dog in Kew has a dark, moody interior with a definite theme running through it ... complete with a mural of dogs that greets you as you enter through one of the rear entrances. There's also a statue, presumably representing the "Skinny Dog" itself, which adds a bit of character to the place. The staff were friendly and welcoming, helping to create a relaxed atmosphere. As for the food, it was perfectly fine however nothing extraordinary. The mussels were served in a delicious sauce however the portion size was overwhelming, with far too many mussels on the plate and no bread offered to soak up the beautiful, flavourful juices.
