Thought hard about the first dinner in Melbourne and decided to give Royston Hotel a go. I’m really glad we did. The service was top notch and the young staff really made an extra effort to please.
My pops got his first kangaroo dish in down under. Even though the pepper sauce was not up to his taste, they changed it fast to red wine jus. Everyone liked their dishes which were huge and tasty.

The Royston Hotel impresses with fabulous young staff who are eager to please. Their fried chicken burger is outstanding, paired with perfectly cooked chips. The sticky toffee pudding is divine, and the wine selection is top-notch. A truly delightful dining experience from start to finish.

The eggplant is insane, even my friends who hardly eat veggies loved it. It is a must-order. Cheeseburger spring rolls were fun to eat, it was well-executed. I also ordered the chicken parma and it was pleasantly satisfying. They also have a fairly decent list of cocktails, barrel-aged Negroni was really good.
Service was quick and staff were super friendly. Definitely coming back again!

The Royston Hotel is an awesome pub. We had a family lunch and it was the perfect relaxing place for our large family get together. The barman and all staff could not be any friendlier and helpful. The food was fantastic and all meals were brought out at the same time which is impressive when there’s such a large group. The owner of this pub should be very proud of their team it was clear that they all work very well together. We will definitely be back and thank you once again for a wonderful afternoon.

Lunch with friends, consistently good quality for everyone's meals (9 of us), decent size. Good drinks list, cocktails. Maybe a stronger non-alcoholic cocktail list would be my only suggestion!
