While all other people enjoyed their time spent there and food they had, my experience was quite opposite. We ordered two kofta wrapped in pita, sorry for that description as we could not determine the name of the dish. We waited for the order to come for the next 20 minutes and it finally came: everything was falling out of the one of them so I could not eat it without using my hands. Mind you the second pita came 5 minutes later than the first oneβ¦the music was loud and the tables were in quite distressed state. The experience was not great.

Used to go there many years ago, now went back after a long time, they are still phenomenal on their food, quality and quantity. I do recommend them and it's a must visit place.

Still one of my fave brunch spots in Melbourne. Their catering options are just excellent as well, and really reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Their chicken mushroom garlic square is amaaaaaazing. As is the cheese pie.

Great fresh made and cooked breads, pies, and wraps. Zaatar, falafel 'foccacia' tuna pie, and the chicken mushroom square are my repeat favourites. You can also take home for the freezers, and they reheat beautifully. Usually very busy at lunch, so may have to wait a bit for your order, but definately worth it for fresh, hot, authentic Zaatar.

β 1-Star Review
I went to Zaatar Coburg after a long day at work, really hungry and looking forward to a good breakfast, but unfortunately I was very disappointed.
The welcoming was not warm at allβit felt like the staff were only interested in upselling rather than actually serving. The only thing I enjoyed was the cappuccino.
I asked the waitress for my eggs well done, but they came undercooked. When I mentioned it to her, she responded with, βYou want it to be more well done?β π€¦ββοΈ
First time Iβve ever heard that!
Overall, very disappointing experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
