The ham and cheese croissant was generously packed with ham, and the cream bun delightfully flaky - both absolutely delicious. The large coffee was truly large and satisfying. Great value with friendly, prompt service.

Came in for a quick lunch takeaway because I heard good things about this place To start off, the customer service wasn't the greatest. Doesn't give a welcoming greet, no smiles just a stone cold look. I had to awkwardly give them a look to see whether it's okay to order yet. Mind you, it was not busy (only me and 2 guys who were waiting for their order). Ordered the chicken sandwich and the almond crossaint: Chicken sandwich : 1/5 very very soggy, had no flavour and just wet. Had to unfortunately chuck the other half of the sandwich. $17 wasted Almond crossaint : 3.5/5 I really liked how crisp the crossaint was, however the frangipane was a tad bit heavy and the flavour was a bit too floral for my personal preference. However, if you like that then give it a try. Atomosphere was very clean.

The coffee was excellent, and the croissant was refreshing in the morning. The croissant appeared well-baked with multiple layers. The roast chicken sandwich for me was a bit of a let down with there not being 2 much roast chicken inside but the bread was really refreshing. Flavours just didn't hit hard but will be keen to make my way through the menu as the coffee is really good.

Bread was under cooked. We got home and picked up the loaf and noticed immediately it felt dense and was smaller. Cut into it and it was under cooked, still felt tacky. Felt like this could have been caught before sale. Happened on Saturday with the wholemeal sourdough The pastries amazing! Loved the cinnamon scroll and Vegemite scroll.

Long time customer, first time reviewer. Double Dutch has created a real sense of community and local cafe vibes. Staff are welcoming and lovely, coffee is consistent and delicious, and food is next level. The coffee is consistently excellent- I've said this twice because I've been coming since they opened nearly two and a half years ago and have never had a bad coffee. Even better, you will always be served with a smile and a chat. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable about coffee, and make great recommendations. I have tried at least ten of the pastries and breads, and wouldn't go anywhere else for brownies, focaccia, speculaas buns or loaded croissants- everything, really. Do yourself a favour and check them out.
