I had high expectations but I was rather disappointed. Whilst meat was tender, but the beef burger was a bit dry. Pulled pork burger was more moist but still both dont have amazing taste, too bland for us. Their aioli sauce was amazing though, but unlikely to come back.

Today, I ordered the Dirty Brisket Burger — it was juicy, perfectly cooked, and served at just the right temperature.
You might want an extra napkin if you choose to eat it by hand instead of using the knife and fork provided.

The place has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner often sits at the counter and personally greets guests, which helps create a great connection with regular customers.

Alex’s Yarra Valley Smokery is really something special. We had the Dirty Brisket burger. The brisket is fall-apart tender and so flavorful, and the homemade chips crispy outside, fluffy inside. Smoked dimsum super fun and unique snack. The service is top-notch - the staff all friendly and attentive.
And Alex, the owner, is a total gem. He's super passionate about his BBQ and it shows. If we live here, we’ll be around all the time. Can’t get enough. Highly recommend!

Yarra Valley Smokery was amazing! Never been before and was blown away. Did not expect this little shop front to produce such amazing food. The owner is so passionate about his meat and the local produce. Even got to check out the smokers out the back! Definitely try the Ruben! Thanks!

We stumbled upon this delicious smokery on our way to the Yarra Valley and it was a real find! The menu is packed with tasty lingering smoked briskets, burgers, and other meats, all served with tasty sides like thick cut fries. The owner Alex is a gentleman with a big heart. He's passionate about smoking meats and loves sharing his knowledge if you're into the dark arts of meat smoking. Definitely recommend stopping by for some great food and a chat!
