The almond croissant and cherry donut... 10/10! Each bite of quality filling. Not flakey or doughy nothingness like everywhere else. There's joy, flavour and quality ingredients in every bite. I bought the bread and yet to try, but I've never seen bread look that good! If the sweets are anything to go by, im sure it will not disappoint.

Very cool vibe and friendly staff. We got the toffee dark choc cookie (10/10, absolutely delish would get again 1000 times), almond choc croissant (6/10, very dense, a little dry but not overly sweet and nice flavour), and the walnut cinnamon sticky bun (7/10, nice caramely flavour, but a bit too bready for my liking). Can see why it’s called bread club, stick to the bread. Olive bread is yuuuummy and so are the Vegemite scrolls.

bread club, you have my heart. i have no exaggeration booked a trip to melbourne TWICE on the basis of trying these almond croissants, they are so. damn. good. i’ve been going to the north Melbourne store whenever i visit but this was my first time going to the albert park location. it was the afternoon so nearly everything was sold out but i was able to snag the last classic almond croissant, my favourite item. every single time the croissant is unreal. the pastry, the frangipane, the size, price, flavour?? nothing to fault at all. also the girl serving me was so so kind, just a very pleasant experience all around. please open in sydney, please.

Rating solely based on the hot cross buns. Chocolate ones were absolutely incredible. Loads of high quality chocolate, great balance of sweet, salty and bitter. Probably the best chocolate hot cross buns I’ve had. Fruit was okay - not to my preference because it was really heavy handed on spice and fruit.

I both love and hate that they opened up a second location near my apartment. Because yes, I don’t have to travel to North Melbourne for my bread club fix anymore, but now I want to go there every day and eat everything. The pizza is very good, lots of bubbles and toppings. I definitely recommend heating it up at home in the oven and letting it get crispy & crunchy. Bread is, of course, excellent. Coffee is great! Staff lovely & attentive. Can’t go wrong! Just prepare to be addicted. EDIT: Had the cardamom bun today and it was very, very good! So good, in fact, that I contemplated not telling my partner I’d bought it because I didn’t want to share.
