Find and claim your venueFour clear steps
From listing to lively conversation.
You stay in charge. Give the people closest to service the tools to keep your FoodScout page fresh.
STEP 01
Find and claim your listing
Open Claim a venue, search by venue name or suburb, and select the right listing. Submit your contact details and tell us how you’re authorised to represent the business.
STEP 02
We review the request
FoodScout reviews claims to reduce impersonation. We may contact you or ask for more information. Once approved, your owner account can access the venue dashboard.
STEP 03
Invite your chef and manager
In the owner dashboard, open Team, choose Chef or Manager, and enter their email. Share the private invitation link with them; it expires after seven days and must be accepted using that email address.
STEP 04
Keep the conversation moving
Your chef and manager can add or update specials, share venue posts, and reply to reviews in the chef’s voice. You stay in control of team access and owner-only settings.
Built for the people who know the place best.
Your team can share what’s on, keep venue information current, and answer diners in your own voice. No intermediary needs to post on your behalf. Owners control access and can remove team members at any time.

Venue owner FAQ
Is it free to claim and manage a venue?
Yes. Claiming is free. FoodScout reviews ownership requests before granting owner dashboard access.
How do I claim my venue on FoodScout?
Go to Claim a venue, search for your listing, select it, and submit the claim form with contact details and information that helps us verify your authority to represent the business. The FoodScout team reviews the request and may ask for more information.
How do I add a chef or manager to my account?
After your claim is approved, open Team in the owner dashboard. Invite a chef or manager using their email address, then share the generated private link. The invitation expires after seven days and can only be accepted by an account using the invited email.
What can chefs and managers do?
Invited chefs and managers can use the venue’s kitchen workspace to manage specials, publish venue posts, and reply to reviews as the chef or kitchen team. They do not receive the owner dashboard or owner-only controls.
Can our team add specials and respond to reviews?
Yes. Once they accept an invitation, chefs and managers can add and update venue specials and respond to diner reviews from the kitchen workspace.
Why should I manage my venue on FoodScout?
You and your team know the venue best. Keeping the listing current, sharing specials, and responding to reviews lets you engage with diners directly on FoodScout—without needing an agency or account manager in between.
What if I cannot find my venue or it is already claimed?
If it is missing, contact FoodScout with the venue name, suburb, and address so we can help. If it appears claimed already, contact us and we can review the listing and ownership details.
