We ordered makai roti with saag and amitsari aalo kulcha, both were nice with an authentic taste.
The barfi and ragullah we ordered as takeaway didn't meet taste and quality expectations.
Recommended for som nice and tasty food.

Was suprised by this place. I had paneer kulcha, samosa chaat and lassi which was all amazing! The food they serve can be comfort food for many of us. In Melbourne I havenβt seen a lot of Indian places serving plain sweet lassi which they do and plus points for that! They do take time to bring the order out so itβs not very quick.
Overall a good place and budget friendly!

Gobind Sweets Thomastown is a hidden gem for Indian food. It seems to be popular with not only community members of south asian heritage but also anyone else who are connoisseurs of authentic Indian food. Their Soya Chap is a must try, and so is Mooli Paratha. Iβd also mention the staff there go above and beyond to ensure a good experience by the patrons. In particular I want to call out Barleen for exemplary customer service - unlike many other South Asian joints, she seems committed to quality service, ensuring to get every small detail right. Thanks Gobind Sweets team and I look forward to visiting again.

Great portion size and authentic north Indian Punjabi food taste. Must recommend when you are nearby here in thomastown. Staff is friendly too.

Waited too long for the order, then when received the order the staff forgot to let the kitchen know about the order, after waiting for so long for samosas, received in Burnt condition, filling was worst as well. Wasted time and energy both.
