If you enjoy being ignored by staff, eat mediocre food, get a dish with most of the ingredients missing and get over charged for your drinks, then this is the place for you. Most of the staff seemed more interested in what was on their phones than what was happening in the restaurant. We ordered and paid for our first drinks at the bar and I miss heard the charge only to find out later when checking my bank account that I had been overcharged $11 for 2 drinks. The food took ages to arrive and was less than appetising. The pork was over cooked and dry, the potatoes were hard and tasted like they had not been washed properly. We ordered 2 deserts, ice cream with topping and wafers. When they had not appeared half an hour later, we enquired as to their whereabouts only to be told that the kitchen was closed. But they had taken our money for the desert! We were eventual given a bowl each of 2 small scoops of half melted ice cream, no wafers, no topping. And this was at a cost of $8 per bowl! When we queried it, the waiter just ignored us and left, no explanation and no apologies. I expressed my concerns via email to the hotel, but their silence was deafening. They obviously don’t give a damn about customer service. Overall a horrible experience, the management should be ashamed of their staff and also themselves for not addressing concerns from their customers. I would never step foot in this hotel ever again.

We attended the Christmas Day Buffet lunch. We were very unhappy that we had to wait outside in the cold for the doors to open 3 minutes late after the lunch should have commenced. We recommend that patrons can wait in the foyer for 30 minutes prior to opening the buffet as the line gets really long. However, the quality of the buffet food was amazing, the best buffet since you commenced the Christmas buffet. We attend every year and previous years have been average. Very happy with the 2025 buffet, please thank the staff for an excellent Christmas Day lunch!!

This is about the bistro/restaurant. Big disappointment. Food took 35-40 minutes to arrive. The roast beef of the day was cold to room temperature (where was it before being served??) and had no flavour or taste. Bland bland bland. The other dishes faired not much better. The batter of the Calamari was tough and not light crispy πŸ˜’. The grilled fish was over grilled!!!! The porterhouse steak was more medium than rare. Only the linguini and kid's fried rice were reasonable. Overall, not good experience to a place I come often.

We recently celebrated our son’s 21st birthday in the Garden Bar, with the stunning city skyline as the backdrop β€” and it was absolutely perfect. All our family and friends had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, the setting was beautiful, and the atmosphere was just right. A special thank you to our Function Manager, Ale, who truly went above and beyond. She was friendly, bubbly, and incredibly professional. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made sure every detail we requested was executed seamlessly. Ale is definitely the right person for the job β€” we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Together with Ale, the bar attendants Monique and Gabrielle were also helpful, friendly, and really contributed to making the evening enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for making this 21st a truly memorable and special evening!

I have been a regular customer since 2019 and have often met friends here for food and drink. While the food was never exceptional and the drinks list fairly standard, the experience was still worthwhile thanks to the great views and the convenience of free unlimited parking. Unfortunately, over the past year I’ve noticed a gradual decline in service and overall quality. Longer wait times, what appears to be understaffing, changes to the menu including the removal of some favourites, and a noticeable reduction in food quality have begun to outweigh the benefits that used to make this venue a favourite of mine. The staff remain polite and do their best, but it feels like there may have been changes in management or the business approach that have affected the customer experience. My most recent visit on Boxing Day was particularly disappointing, to the extent that I cancelled my New Year’s Eve booking and have decided to take a break from visiting for now. I hope the venue is able to return to the standard that made it such a great place to spend time.
