My family has been shopping here for many years. It has been our preferred supermarket mainly because of close proximity and having an adjoining underground car park, with easy access to the store. It is also located within Eastland, which makes it easy to do banking, post office tasks, etc on the same visit, without moving the car. Overall the store offers a huge variety of products, the layout is uncomplicated and user friendly and our experience with customer service has usually been good. The store needs a refresh and to offer more individual self serve and staffed registers to be open.

Family Friendly

Rude checkout experience I had a really unpleasant experience at Woolworths Eastland today with a checkout attendant (wearing a nose ring and dark-rimmed glasses). When we placed a small basket of items on the conveyor belt, she huffed loudly, rolled her eyes, and began slamming the groceries down quite aggressively. When my husband went to help pack, she snapped at him with, β€œWell, are you going to be doing the packing?” β€” which was completely uncalled for. We were polite and just trying to get our shopping done, so the attitude and behaviour were very disappointing. It’s not the kind of service I’d expect from Woolworths, and I hope management addresses this so other customers aren’t treated the same way.

I order online and have my shopping delivered. Without fail, every single order, they forget something. Sometimes it's just one or two things, sometimes it's half the shopping. I have spoken to them multiple times about this, but they still keep messing it up. Time to switch to Coles.

Woolies as at 8/625 have a huge stock of shakers and drink holders that are all close to $20 or above and poorly shelved Massive Mark-Ups and Bully monopoly prices ! ! Too much variety. A monopoly at the expense of consumers who are forced to pay top dollar for a small basket of goods using unscrupulous strategies. WANT ANOTHER EXAMPLE? CELERY- How much do you need to put in a soup ?? Not a whole bunch that's for sure!! If I need 2 out of that bunch to make soup, I still have to pay about $8 -$10 for a whole bunch, rest goes to waste. At the expense of homeless people im Ringwood?? Can't afford $10. GREEEEDY !!!! I have to substitute CELERY for Cucumber! Stop scamming poor consumers!!!!!! 😑😑

Never heard Woolworths used intoxicated person to serve at direct to boot. She talks for 15 mins with a customer that doesn't wanna hear anything from her while the customer waiting. By the way she tried to give me other while has nothing to do with my order. I been here 15min and i guess she's still looking for my order.
