This is my most favorite bakery and I regularly buy the super country plus something else to try but last couple of times that super country was sold out, I got the country and was burnt. I like the crust but if it tastes bitter and burnt in your mouth it is gone too far and I expect them not to sell it. This wasnβt the first time hence the review.

Finally visited this famous bakery in Melbourne and got myself a Sunday-only raisin and pecan batard. The store is nicely organised with sections for some dry goodies and merch, and the service was fast.
I like my nutty loaf, though it is pricier than other bakeries.

This is one of my go-to bakeries and my favourite spot in the area. Iβve tried many of their pastries and they never disappoint. Theyβre also known for using sourdough in their croissants, which gives it a unique flavour and texture, is actually one of my favourites. All of their bakes are generously filled and rich in flavour, which makes every bite satisfying.
The one that really stays on my mind is the Onion Fougasse from their chilli oil specials - sweet, spicy, and aromatic. It was so good I only managed to snap a partial photo before eating the rest. Wish it could stay on the perm menu!

We ordered the almond croissant, focaccia pizza and a cookie, and were all delicious! Fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully made. Canβt wait to come back and try more from the menu. A great first impression!

French inspired bakery in Melbourne.
Lots of interesting flavour profiles to pick from. I ended up getting the Blood Plus Tart for breakfast. The chocolate croissant also looked good as did the macadamia cookie. It was hard to pick just one item.
They also sell Darryl's Peanut Butter and Nuri Sardines from Porto, Portugal. Cute shop with a nice to go section beyond just the baked good. Their bagels also looked worth a try.
