Zero Stars – Extremely Disappointing Experience at El Jannah Campbellfield
I’m honestly shocked at how poor the service and overall experience was. We waited 30 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. Not warm, not just okay completely cold. Burgers Chips Gravy.
The dining area was a mess as well. Tables were dirty, rubbish left around, and it looked like no one had bothered to clean or maintain the space. I’ve attached photos because the state of the restaurant speaks for itself.
Between the long wait times, cold food, and terrible service, this visit was a complete letdown. Absolutely not the standard you’d expect, and definitely not worth the money or time. Stay away

Went to ElJannah craigieburn during christmas time as next to returant was closed and loved the food alot when we dined in. So, decided to get a take away drive through order today at 5:49pm whole chicken but was a dissapointment as the chicken was burnt badly and not able to eat. Hope they improve from next time.

The place is very dirty, and the floor is a safety hazard for employees.
The staff are very disrespectful and unprofessional.
You wouldn’t even know what you just ate at El Jannah.

I’m very disappointed with the El Jannah brand, which is known as a signature halal fast food chain. What you claim in your reviews doesn’t match the reality. The store has failed to meet even the basic Australian standards for hygiene or Islamic values.
If you say you serve halal food, you should understand how important cleanliness and hygiene are in Islam. Unfortunately, this store does not reflect that at all. I’ve noticed the same hygiene issues mentioned by other customers just a few weeks ago, and your responses seem copied and not genuine.
This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this — it has happened multiple times. The El Jannah stores are always dirty, often understaffed, and it seems the employees are being overworked. It’s very disappointing to see this happening again and again.
Please take real action — keep the store clean, treat your staff fairly, and maintain the true standards of Australian and Islamic halal values for hygiene and fairness for staff. Otherwise, many of us will stop coming here.

I ordered online at 11:40 PM and got there around 11:44 PM. The place was empty, not a single car in the drive-thru. I waited 20 minutes for my order. When I mentioned I'd waited long enough, they said, "Oh sorry, we'll make it right now." I don't get the point of ordering online if I still have to tell them in-store that they got an online order they never even checked.

I recently visited El Jannah Campbellfield and had a really positive experience. The service was impressively fast, even though the place was busy, and my order was prepared without a long wait. The team members were friendly, polite, and very welcoming, which made the experience even better. They were happy to help, answered questions patiently, and made sure everything was correct with my order. The atmosphere felt warm and well-organised, and the staff’s positive attitude really stood out. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit with great service, and I would definitely recommend El Jannah Campbellfield to others.
