Can't rate the rooms because we did not stay here. But we did have dinner in the bistro. The service was delightful. The views and the setting were outstanding. The portions were very generous and the food was tasty without being outstanding. The flathead was delicious but the ribs were a little tough and the sides were OK but at the price could have been a little bit more inspired. In summary, a pleasant meal in a comfortable, modern venue with reasonable food that would benefit from a bit of fine tuning.

A Waterfront Gem: 5-Star Experience: The Bridge Hotel Mordialloc is hands-down one of the best spots in the bay area. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is electric yet welcoming. We sat on the Bistro Deck, and the views of Mordialloc Creek at sunset were absolutely stunning, the perfect backdrop for a relaxed late lunch. The food was a highlight; the seafood platter was incredibly fresh, and the wood-fired pizzas had that perfect crispy crust. What truly elevated our visit was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Whether you're after a sophisticated meal or a casual drink by the water, this place delivers 5-star quality every time. Highly recommended!

I walked in hopeful and walked out hungry, thirsty, and oddly impressed by how nothing happened for 20 minutes. The menu prices suggested I was about to be served a life-changing culinary experience. What I got instead was the chance to read the menu extensively, because no waiter ever appeared. Not once. I started wondering if the staff were part of the dΓ©cor β€” which, by the way, was as bland as the atmosphere. Beige vibes, beige energy. After sitting there long enough to age a fine wine (which I couldn’t afford anyway), we realised the service style here is β€œself-reflection.” No greeting, no drinks, no acknowledgement of our existence. Just us, the chairs, and our growing disappointment. Eventually, we decided to leave β€” which was the fastest service we received all night. Would recommend if you enjoy overpriced menus, zero interaction, and the thrilling experience of walking out still hungry.

My daughter and I stopped off for a quick lunch on a bright Sunday afternoon and chose to sit outside overlooking the creek. It really is a calming scene to watch over the moored boats. This is a huge selling point. After both deciding on the flathead tails it did not take very long for the polite staff to return with our food. The fish were tasty and encased in a light crunchy batter which we both appreciated and dunked in an ample amount of tartare sauce we both received. The disappointment however, came from the meagre amount of accompanying chips and a small portion of lettuce leaves. This appeared contrary to some of the portions of other meals we saw being served. Overall a pleasant place to enjoy a drink and perhaps try one of the wood fired pizzas (which were being served frequently) and savour the views.

One star, purely because I can’t give it less! We were seated at our table, tucked away from the main dining area with zero atmosphere whatsoever. Clearly this was a forgotten table, as nobody attended to us again! We sat for 20 minutes and still had not even been offered a drink. We left, and went to half moon pub in Brighton instead which was fabulous! Will never return here, and would highly advise nobody else does either.
