This is a must visit. The restaurant itself has such a warm cozy inviting relaxing feel to it..oh, and the seats are so comfortable! 🥹 The staff were super friendly and attentive 🙏🏼 The food was absolutely delicious! Finally, an Indian restaurant that puts more than 3 pieces of meat in their curries! It was packed! The curry sauce was thick and tasty, not watery! Often, when I order two different curries, they tend to taste almost identical, but you can tell these are freshly and individually made. It is worth noting the average curry price here is $23, compared to the $18 average elsewhere, although they are miles apart in quality. It would be amazing if they also offered chai masala tea! ☕️ Thanks for a wonderful dinner! I’m looking forward to returning for the all you can eat offer!

Indian Burrp is an absolute gem in Cheltenham! The food is consistently delicious — rich, authentic flavours that taste homemade and fresh. The butter chicken and lamb rogan josh are standout dishes, and the naan is soft, buttery, and perfectly cooked every time. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always happy to adjust spice levels or recommend something new. Portions are generous and well-priced, making it great value for money.

Lovely atmosphere, music, service, food. Constantly good. The restaurant has a great choice of vegetarian food. Tandoori mushrooms were delicious. Hari Mirch vegi, which I have tried the very first time have been good. Brilliant service in this excellent Indian restaurant that serves delicious authentic, Indian food with excellent ambience. I will be delighted to be back.

We had the largest thali (platter) in Melbourne, and it was an incredible experience! The platter featured a wide variety of curries, samosas, garlic and butter naan, papadum, raita, and pani puri. Everything was delicious, authentic, and truly satisfying. For $50 per person (meat/mixed) or $40 per person (vegetarian), you get unlimited refills of everything except the dessert — a refreshing mango kulfi. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a generous and flavorful Indian feast! Excellent service 😊

Last Sunday night, we had a feast at this restaurant. Eight of us went there to celebrate an occasion, with drinks & dinner. We started off with an entree consisting of Chicken tikka, Samosas, and Onion Bhajji/pakoras served with salads. The Samosas were delicious, perfectly fried and crispy on the outside. The same was with Onion Bhajjis. Now, coming to the chicken tikka... It was the best we have tasted in a long time. When the platter was brought to our table, it was sizzling hot emitting aeromatic smoke. This chicken tikka was absolutely delicious, with good-sized succulent portions of tender chicken cooked to perfection. These chicken tikka pieces were layered on top of green vegetables/salads with butter. The resulting effect was a delicious semi cooked buttery greens that complimented the amazing chicken tikka even more! Following this, we indulged in the main course that consisted of -- Lamb rogan Josh, butter chicken, vegetable korma, butter Naans, Pea Palau rice, and so on. With the mains Lamb rogan Josh, butter chicken and butter naans were the best. Butter chicken had good-sized chicken portions perfectly cooked & tender, blended in a well-balanced butter sauce, which was slightly on the sweeter side. Lamb Rogan Josh also had good portions of tender Lamb pieces in a delicious spicy gravey. Butter naans appeared to be just out of the Tandoor oven - hot, delicious, and served with dollops of butter. Finally, we finished off our dinner with a dessert of mango Kulfi. (The Kulfi was a negative, i.e., cut pieces of a rather small amount of Kulfi served on plates. Kulfi served as a whole dessert, tastes much better than cut pieces in a plate). The second negative was, when a couple of our guests requested for butter chicken and Lamb rogan Josh to be topped up (because these items were meant to be unlimited) they were told that the dishes had to be completely empty including any remaining gravey etc before these could be replenished!) But, apart from these two negatives, it was a beautiful dinner and experience. The ambience was really nice too. In conclusion, there's a pretty well stocked bar also on premises which serves varieties of beer, wine and spirits, etc. You can also bring your own bottles of champagne, wine, etc, (corkage/glass charge applies). Overall, this is an excellent Indian restaurant that serves delicious authentic Indian food with excellent ambience and staff too. I highly recommend this business.
