What a fabulous group of workers at the Woolies, Murray Rd Preston store! I've had to use the 'direct to boot' service these last few weeks and have found all the staff, helpful and caring. They have all been keen to help with packing bags into the car. Today, Gulay was great; friendly, chatty and quick to help with packing all bags into my car. We'll done and thank you to the crew at Woolies Preston. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My experience at Woolworths, Preston happened on the 12/9/25 at 1329hrs. I was using one of the self help service machines, I also needed help to activate a $50 gift voucher. One of the younger shop assistants was very kind and helpful. Just before exiting the pay area I was confronted by an elderly woman employee called Lena. She asked whether I’d paid for my groceries in the trolley. I was shocked with her accusation and I said yes do you want to see my receipt? Before I left the store I approached her and stated calmly that I wasn’t happy with the way she spoke to me it was rude and embarrassing in front of a busy store of shoppers. Lena then proceeded to pat me a couple of times on my arm patronisingly stating “don’t worry about it” I stepped back and told her not to touch me again. Since then I have contacted Woolworths complaints Department who have acknowledged my complaint and given me the Store Managers direct contact details. I have tried to contact the Manager for the last week and have not been successful. How can this behaviour go without notice. Next stop Human rights Department.

Leaving a one star review for the new boom gates that have been installed to deter Preston Market goers. High St and market parking will be even harder to find now. Boomgates that interrupt the flow of traffic where you get stuck behind someone whose card isn’t working or an intercom that doesn’t get answered. Private paid parking is contributing to the gentrification of Preston.

Iam a delivery driver, I come here for pickup very frequent, and almost everyday. There is this women at the back, she is making me wait 10-15 minutes for every order and sometimes 30 minutes to 1 hour. Even if there is no other customer or driver waiting for any order. She doesn’t check the name and anything, just yells 30 mins 30 mins 30 mins like she is in a fish market. if you can’t keep the order at the pickup time, then don’t release the orders. If you tell me 15-30 minutes for every order. I will cancel them, and then it’s Woolworths that pays cancellation fees for me. Your staff is personally getting you the losses. You should keep an eye on the direct to boot manager maybe. Maybe teach the manager how to manage and work at the direct to boot.

Nearly always chaotic. The aisles always crowded with shoppers, staff trying to fulfill click and collect orders plus staff with pallet jacks of goods trying to restock shelves often during peak periods.
